The Oakdale Theatre is a multi-purpose performance venue, located in Wallingford, Connecticut. Opened in 1954, the venue consists of an auditorium and domed theatre, known as The Dome at Oakdale.

This session will use an audience interactive game to examine the significance of nuisance ant related revenue to our industry (and lack of profitability from reservices), the biology/lifecycle and nesting/foraging behavior of common nuisance ants, and IPM best practices for their control (identification, monitoring, physical control, mechanical control, cultural control, and chemical controls).

This session will cover essential information regarding mosquito biology, mosquito behavior, disease transmission, and management of this public health pest.

This session will examine the biology and behavior of subterranean termites.  Biological processes covered will include: eusociality, colony dynamics, metamorphosis, caste system, and a non-circular lifecycle.  Behaviors covered will include: swarming/mating, colony defense, cryptobiotic foraging, nest/colony infrastructure, and multiple other worker caste functions.  Emphasis will be placed on how these biological processes and behaviors optimize current management tools.
