CTPCA is proud to announce that nominations are now being accepted for 3 prestigious awards to our industry, the Technician of the Year, Admin Professional of the Year, and the Joe Giaimo Advocacy Award. Click the buttons below to nominate your company's most valuable asset - your top employees!

Submissions are due by August 15th and recipients will be announced at the CTPCA Fall Seminar.

 

The Technician of the Year Award is designed to recognize the individual who exemplifies those qualities that best define an outstanding service technician in the Pest Management Industry of Connecticut.

• Must have two years of experience in his/her phase.
• Technician must work at least 80% of the time in the field.
• Must be recommended by the company owner, manager, or supervisor.
• Two Phases from which to choose: Pest Control and WDO

Technician of the Year - Nomination Form

 

The Admin Professional of the Year Award will be presented to the administrative professional that best demonstrates the qualities listed below. Individuals may be nominated by their colleagues or managers or self-nominated for their outstanding service, superior performance, exceptional efficiency, integrity and dedication to their fellow employees and their companies. Nominees may be nominated by more than one person. 

The recipient of this award will be an individual who demonstrates the following qualities:

• Customer service-oriented both internally and externally
• Commitment to the company’s purpose
• Current, full-time administrative support staff members
• Have worked in his/her current position for at least two years.

The Joe Giaimo Advocacy Award is designed to recognize excellence in the industry. The 2024 award winner should exemplify leadership, mentorship, and advocacy for the industry with a minimum of 10 years of industry experience.
